the publisher
The Proceedings, issued on CD Rom and
in printed volume, contain a selection of extended versions of the free
papers presented at the UICC World Cancer Congress (July 8-12, 2006,
Washington D.C., USA).
This publication continues the
editorial line of the proceedings issued on occasion of the 16th
International Cancer Congress held in India 1994 and 17th International
Cancer Congress held in Brazil 1998.
All the papers in this collection have been uniformed
with the same graphic layout and reproduced exactly as they have been
submitted from the authors who remain responsible for the contents of
their article. The publisher thanks the authors who have kindly
